Treewise Travel invites you to immerse yourself in a beautiful multi-day forest bathing journey. A chance to leave the rush behind, quiet your mind, and rediscover yourself in nature.
Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) is not an ordinary walk. It is a guided nature experience that helps you to slow down and shift your attention from doing to being. Through simple, intentional exercises in nature, your body and mind get the chance to unwind and recover.
No prior experience is needed. This journey is open to anyone who wants to discover what nature can do for calm, focus, and a deeper sense of meaning.
You will spend 6 days in Northern Finland, connecting with yourself and with like-minded people, following the rhythm of the forest.



THE JOURNEY


You travel with a small group of maximum 7 participants, guided by an experienced forest bathing guide and wellbeing coach, Anthony Bal, together with an additional facilitator, Camille Lescrauwaet, who supports the practical organisation of the trip.

Accommodation is provided in a beautiful wooden house by a lake, set in the middle of nature and tranquillity. It is located in the region of Kuusamo, famous for its beautiful forests, clear lakes and peaceful northern landscapes.


 
FOR WHOM?

This journey is for anyone longing to slow down and experience nature more deeply and for those who want to travel in a different way. It is for people who are curious about the Finnish wilderness, but also about the quiet power of nature.
No experience with forest bathing is needed. An interest in nature and a desire to unwind is enough. The trip is suitable for solo travellers and people of all ages.
A normal basic level of fitness is sufficient. We move gently through the landscape, without long or demanding hikes and without any pressure to perform.

PRACTICAL INFO


๏ Dates: 2–7 September 2026
๏ Location: near Kuusamo, North Ostrobothnia
๏ Group: max. 7 participants
๏ Price: €1420 per person – all inclusive (accommodation, meals, activities, local transport)
๏ Flights not included (participants book their own flight to Rovaniemi)
๏ Transfer: pick-up & drop-off at Rovaniemi Airport included
๏ Accommodation: an authentic and comfortable house with private bedrooms and shared spaces, including a sauna




USEFUL INFO
๏ Weather & climate: September in Lapland brings long but sometimes cool days (around 5–18°C) and chilly evenings. The weather can change quickly, so layers and warm clothing are important. The accommodation itself is comfortable and warm (sauna included).
๏ Language: guidance and all activities are offered in English and Dutch combined.
๏ Insurance & cancellation: a personal travel and cancellation insurance is required and must be arranged by the participant.
